Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo commented after his side’s 2‑1 victory over Nigeria in an international friendly on Wednesday.

The match took place at Estadio Dr Magalhaes Pessoa in Leiria, where Pedro Neto opened the scoring for the hosts in the 23rd minute. Nigeria responded with a goal from Akor Adams before the break, leveling the score.

In the second half, Francisco Conceição secured the win for Portugal with a decisive goal.

Following the match, Ronaldo posted on Instagram, stating, “The preparation is done. Eyes on the World Cup,” and shared a photo of himself in action for Portugal against Nigeria.

Portugal will compete in Group K at the World Cup, where they will face DR Congo, Colombia and Uzbekistan.
