Peter Obi Sole Presidential Candidate to Report Campaign Spending, Tanko Says

The National Coordinator of the Obidient Movement, Yunusa Tanko, has said that Peter Obi is the only presidential candidate who has fully accounted for his campaign spending.

Tanko made the remark on Tuesday during an interview on Arise Television’s “Day Break.”

He explained, “I was there when Aisha Yesufu and Peter Obi engaged an independent auditor to review their campaign finances. They provided a detailed account of every amount spent during the campaign. I would like to see the same level of transparency from other major parties, including the APC and PDP.”

“Peter Obi stood out because he was committed to the accountability and transparency he consistently advocated throughout the campaign. He made sure those accounts were made public, and I think it’s a public document that will be accessed by everyone,” Tanko added.
