PDP says Anyanwu attended INEC's national workshop

Samuel Anyanwu, the National Secretary of the Nyesom Wike‑backed Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), attended a national workshop organized by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

According to DAILY POST, the commission’s three‑day national workshop for political party national officers is being held in Lagos.

The workshop, which addresses guidelines for political parties, also attracted notable leaders from several parties.

Earlier, Mao Ohuabunwa, the factional chairman of the PDP Board of Trustees, stated that a Supreme Court judgment affirmed the leadership structure of Abdulrahman Mohammed and Anyanwu as valid.

Ohuabunwa, a member of the Wike faction, added that the judgment demonstrated that Mohammed and Anyanwu possess the stabilising authority to steer the PDP’s affairs at the national level.
