Orji Kalu Congratulates Oyebanji on His Re‑Election Victory in Ekiti

Former Abia State Governor and Senator for Abia North, Orji Uzor Kalu, has extended his congratulations to Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji following Oyebanji’s re‑election.

In a statement released on Sunday, Kalu described the election result as a clear sign of the confidence, trust and broad support that Oyebanji commands among Ekiti voters.

The former Senate Chief Whip noted that Oyebanji’s victory reflected public approval of his leadership style, people‑oriented policies, commitment to good governance and the developmental progress achieved under his administration.

According to Kalu, the electorate’s decision to renew Oyebanji’s mandate reaffirmed their belief in continuity, stability and purposeful governance.

He also praised voters for their peaceful conduct during the election and commended the Independent National Electoral Commission, security agencies and other stakeholders for ensuring a credible electoral process.

Expressing optimism, Kalu said that Oyebanji’s second term would further advance infrastructural development, economic growth, youth empowerment and social progress in the state.

The senator also prayed for wisdom, strength and divine guidance for the governor as he embarks on another term in office.
