Nollywood actress Omeche Oko hospitalized after serious accident

Nollywood actress Omeche Oko survived a severe motorbike crash on a film set, occurring three days before her birthday.

The movie star shared the video of the incident via her Instagram page on Wednesday.

In the clip, Oko was filming a scene on a motorbike with co‑star Victory Michael, who was riding the bike when it struck a pole at the Lagos shooting location.

Michael sustained a chest impact and briefly lost consciousness, while Oko sustained a broken leg.

Crew and colleagues transported the pair to an undisclosed medical facility for treatment.

In her caption, Oko said she came close to death and described life as “very fragile.”

She wrote, “Life is very very fragile. It could have been a different story but God said No. If you see an actor today, give them a hug. We take a lot of risks for the craft. All I can say is thank you God.”

Her colleagues—Mofe Duncan, Chinenye Nnebe, Alichi Chizzy Mbah, Nkechi Blessing Sunday, Nosa Rex, Chidi Dike, Toniala Aladese, Doris Ifeka, and Onyi Alex—along with producers Uche Nancy and Toyosi Etim Effiong, flooded the comments with well‑wishes.
