Gov. Abdulrazaq Dismisses Deputy Chief of Staff in Cabinet Shakeup

Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara State has dismissed his Deputy Chief of Staff and the Principal Private Secretary amid a cabinet reshuffle.

The reshuffle also removed all Special Advisers, Advisers, Senior Special Assistants, and Special Assistants from their positions.

According to a statement released by the Deputy Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mashood Abdulrafiu, in Ilorin on Monday, the changes are intended to create new opportunities for additional party members and bring fresh energy into the administration.

“His Excellency expresses his gratitude to all the appointees for their priceless service to the state,” the statement read.

“He wishes them the best in their future endeavours,” it added.

The Governor also ordered all affected appointees to return any government property in their possession to the Office of the Secretary to the State Government.
