Fulham step up offer to sign Nwaiwu from Trabzonspor

Fulham have stepped up their pursuit of Trabzonspor defender Chibuike Nwaiwu, according to DAILY POST.

Nwaiwu attracted attention following an impressive six‑month stint at Trabzonspor.

The Nigerian international joined Turkey in January, moving from Austrian side Wolfsberger AC.

Trabzonspor rejected a second bid of around €20 million for Nwaiwu, after previously turning down an initial €15 million offer, reports say.

The club is now asking for a fee between €30 and 35 million for the centre‑back.

Fulham already have two Nigerian players, Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey, in their squad.
