FCT: Wike Urges Residents to Challenge Him if Their Property Was Demolished Without Compensation

Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike has invited residents to confront him if their properties were demolished without compensation.

Wike issued the challenge on Wednesday during the commissioning of an arterial road.

He said the current administration of President Bola Tinubu will not be swayed by blackmail.

“If you say you have property that was demolished and you were not paid, come and say so. I challenge anybody,” he said.

“If you want any help from me that you think we should do, come properly and I will do it for you. But if it is by carrying blackmail, no way, it does not work,” Wike added.

“This government cannot fall for any blackmail. We must stand firm, and we are firm to do what we think is right,” he concluded.
