Ekiti United is preparing to appoint Jacob Vandi as its new head coach for the 2026-27 Nigeria National League (NNL) season.
Vandi will replace Idris Bolarinwa, who recently departed from the club.
Bolarinwa left after leading Ekiti United to a third‑place finish in the NNL Conference B last season.
The club is expected to reveal Vandi in the coming days as it readies itself for the new campaign.
Bolarinwa’s exit surprised supporters, given his role in securing one of the team’s best positions in recent years.
Vandi will be charged with building on last season’s performance, as Ekiti United aims for promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
