Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo sent his greetings to Muslims throughout Nigeria on the occasion of Eid‑el‑Kabir, encouraging them to reflect on the festival’s core principles.
In a message of goodwill, the Anambra State governor noted that the Sallah celebration carries deep meaning, reminding people of the virtues of obedience, sacrifice, and steadfast devotion to God’s will and the common good.
Soludo urged Nigerians to use the festive period to pray for lasting peace, national unity, and accelerated development across the country.
He also highlighted the importance of charity, peaceful coexistence, and mutual tolerance among citizens, regardless of religious or ethnic background.
According to the governor, the celebration offers an opportunity to strengthen bonds of love and national harmony through acts of kindness and generosity.
The governor reiterated his administration’s commitment to safeguarding lives and property in Anambra State, assuring residents of adequate security during the festive season and beyond.
He added that his government would continue to create an enabling environment where all residents can celebrate freely and peacefully.
