Coton Sport Terminates Yusuf’s Contract in NPFL

Former assistant coach of Nigeria’s national team, Salisu Yusuf, has departed from Beninese club Coton Sport, according to DAILY POST.

The club and Yusuf agreed to terminate his contract.

During his inaugural season, the veteran coach steered Coton Sport to a second‑place finish in the Championnat National du Bénin.

That performance secured the club’s first qualification for the CAF Confederation Cup.

Yusuf most recently managed Nasarawa United in the Nigeria Premier Football League.

He is currently seeking new coaching roles and is receptive to offers from NPFL teams and other African clubs.
