Anthony Dennis finally appears set to leave Göztepe this summer, and while interest has arrived from England, Belgium, Spain and Turkey, Germany increasingly looks like the destination that best matches his career trajectory, Afrik Foot reports.
According to Footy-Africa, RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt have now entered the race for the Nigerian midfielder, joining Coventry City, Villarreal, Anderlecht, Union Berlin, Mainz 05, Galatasaray and Beşiktaş in monitoring his situation.
With Göztepe prepared to sell the 23-year-old for around €8 million, Dennis faces perhaps the biggest decision of his young career.

For a player who has only just established himself in European football, the right environment could determine whether he develops into a Super Eagles regular or stalls after one promising season.
Among the clubs linked with him, two Bundesliga sides appear particularly well placed to help him reach that next level.
Two Bundesliga clubs best placed to sign Anthony Dennis
1. Eintracht Frankfurt
For a midfielder still learning the demands of elite European football, Eintracht Frankfurt may represent the safest sporting choice.

In recent years, the club have provided an ideal platform for footballers such as Omar Marmoush, Randal Kolo Muani, Hugo Ekitike and Willian Pacho to establish themselves before attracting Europe’s elite.
That patient model could work perfectly for Dennis. Unlike clubs expected to challenge immediately for the Bundesliga title, Frankfurt generally allow younger players room to adapt without the weekly pressure of competing for trophies.
Dennis already possesses the physical attributes required for German football. His ball-winning ability, energy and defensive discipline would naturally suit Frankfurt’s intense pressing style.
More importantly, regular minutes appear far more realistic at the Deutsch-Bank Park than at several other clubs linked with him.
For a player whose priority is believed to be first-team football, that is the most important.

If Frankfurt represent the safer option, RB Leipzig arguably offer the highest ceiling.
Few clubs in Europe have built a stronger reputation for transforming young players into elite performers than Die Rotenbullen.
Leipzig’s recruitment model revolves around signing talented footballers before they reach their peak, refining them through an aggressive, high-intensity tactical system and preparing them for the highest level.
That philosophy has helped launch the careers of players such as Josko Gvardiol, Dominik Szoboszlai, Dani Olmo and Benjamin Šeško.

His ability to recover possession quickly, cover large spaces and progress the ball through midfield aligns closely with the energetic style Leipzig have demanded from their central midfielders like Kevin Kampl and Naby Keita in the past.
However, the challenge would also be considerably greater. Competition for places is significantly stronger, meaning Dennis would need to convince immediately or risk spending long periods outside the starting XI.
The upside, though, is enormous. Success at Leipzig would not simply establish him in the Bundesliga, it would place him firmly on the radar of Europe’s biggest clubs within two or three seasons.

Coventry City have reportedly held positive discussions, while clubs in Turkey, Spain and Belgium continue to monitor the Nigerian.
Yet Germany arguably provides the best balance between development and exposure.
The Bundesliga has long established itself as one of Europe’s premier leagues for nurturing young talent, particularly athletic midfielders capable of playing with intensity.
Dennis has already shown in Turkey that he can adapt to European football after making 31 appearances in all competitions for Göztepe.
The next step should be somewhere that prioritises his growth rather than immediate commercial value.
