Francis Sardauna in Katsina
Abdulaziz Maituraka, the Special Assistant to Governor Dikko Umaru Radda on Public Enlightenment, has denied reports of a dispute between Governor Radda and former Katsina State Governor Aminu Bello Masari.
Yesterday in Katsina, Maituraka refuted the allegation while handing out N4 million, crates of eggs, and cartons of noodles to tea vendors and APC officials across 11 electoral wards in the Katsina Local Government Area.
Rumours have circulated that Radda and Masari were at odds over political matters that could be linked to the 2027 general election.
As a close ally of Masari, Maituraka described his relationship with Radda as friendly and built on a shared commitment to the development of Katsina State.
During the distribution, APC state chairman Bishir Gambo Saulawa praised Maituraka for consistently empowering people and urged all party‑elected officials to follow his example.
He added, “We should empower people now, not only on the eve of elections. People need assistance and empowerment to overcome the current economic hardship.”
