Yusuf Buhari Wins APC Primary, Urges Opponents to Seek Solutions

Yusuf Muhammadu Buhari, the son of former President Muhammadu Buhari, announced that he had won the All Progressives Congress primary for the Sandamu/Daura/Mai’adua Federal Constituency in Katsina State.

During an interview with DCL Hausa on Saturday, Buhari confirmed his victory and advised those who were unhappy to find a solution.

“I have won the APC primary election. Those who are not satisfied should look for a solution themselves,” he said.

Official results show Buhari receiving 5,849 votes, while Hon. Auwal Lawal Daura obtained only 21.

Daily Post reports that the election established the APC candidate for the House of Representatives seat covering Sandamu, Daura and Mai’adua constituencies.
