National Coordinator of the Obidient Movement, Yunusa Tanko, has said that the “allegations and false narratives” used to discredit the 2027 presidential candidate of the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC), Peter Obi, are gradually being uncovered.

Tanko claimed the accusations were propaganda intended to divert Nigerians from electing politicians who possess “competence, accountability, and good governance.”

In a post on his official X account on Sunday, the Obidient Movement Coordinator stated, “even respected northern voices and independent investigators who took time to carefully examine many of these accusations have openly clarified that several of the claims against His Excellency Peter Obi were either distorted, exaggerated, or completely false.”

According to him, Obi’s record in public office “continues to speak louder than sponsored blackmail.”

“The truth will always prevail over propaganda. Nigerians are becoming more informed, more aware, and more determined to support leaders with proven competence, integrity, and genuine concern for the nation,” he added.
