Woman recounts painful incident with hostel roommate and boyfriend after being presumed asleep.

A Nigerian woman posted a heartbreaking account online, claiming she was betrayed by both her hostel roommate and her boyfriend after she attempted to help a friend obtain a job opportunity.

In a TikTok post, she said the events occurred while she was still a student. She had introduced her hostel roommate to her boyfriend in Oshogbo, hoping he could assist her in finding employment and temporary accommodation.

Narrating her experience, she said:

“Because I trusted her, I agreed. Everything was going smoothly until one day I visited unexpectedly and met one lady in his room with a huge backside.”

She further alleged that after they all went out drinking, her boyfriend and hostel roommate assumed she had fallen asleep and allegedly engaged in sexual activity beside her while she remained conscious.

The woman said that after confronting them and receiving apologies from both, another shocking episode occurred the next day, leaving her devastated.

“Both of them started touching each other and eventually slept together right beside me. My boyfriend came begging, saying he didn’t know how it happened. The same girl walked in and asked if she could join us,” she added.

The account has sparked widespread reaction online, with many expressing shock at the alleged betrayal and others urging greater caution in trusting friends and partners.

One user wrote, “This kind of betrayal can really damage someone emotionally.” Another added, “Never ignore red flags in relationships and friendships.”
