Wolverhampton Wanderers have turned down an approach from Serie A club Fiorentina for Nigerian striker Tolu Arokodare, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
Romano also disclosed that Turkish Super Lig outfit Trabzonspor have submitted a proposal for the forward, but the player is not interested in joining the Black Sea Storm.
“Understand Fiorentina had a proposal turned down by Wolves for striker Tolu Arokodare. Trabzonspor also made a proposal but the player is not keen on the move,” Romano posted on X.
Wolves Want Big Fee For Arokodare
Wolves are believed to value the Super Eagles striker at more than €20 million, and are unwilling to sanction his departure unless their asking price is met.

Arokodare has attracted interest from a number of clubs this summer following Wolves’ relegation from the Premier League, with Fiorentina now emerging as one of the latest clubs to test the Championship side’s resolve.
Struggle In England
The 25-year-old joined Wolves from Belgian Pro League club KRC Genk last summer on a four-year contract, with the club holding the option of a further 12 months, in a deal worth £23.4 million.
The towering striker arrived at Molineux after an outstanding campaign with Genk, where he established himself as one of the most prolific forwards in Belgium.
However, he endured a difficult debut season in England, struggling to replicate that form as Wolves battled relegation.
Arokodare scored three goals and provided one assist in 33 Premier League appearances for the Old Gold, with most of his outings coming as a substitute.
