Wikki Tourists praise Aliyu’s invitation to join the Flying Eagles.

Wikki Tourists welcomed the invitation of forward Abubakar Aliyu to the Flying Eagles.

Aliyu is one of 35 players called up for the WAFU B U‑20 tournament in Côte d’Ivoire by head coach Abdu Maikaba.

The youngster has emerged as a standout performer for the Bauchi Elephants, even though the team’s overall campaign was unimpressive.

Wikki Tourists said the call‑up acknowledges the forward’s hard work, commitment and strong club performances.

They also wished him success in the final selection process.

“Wikki Tourists FC congratulates our player, Abubakar Aliyu (Mane), on his invitation to the Nigeria U‑20 National Team by Coach Abdu Maikaba,” the club wrote on its social media handle.

“The invitation is a recognition of his hard work, commitment and impressive performances at club level, and we are proud to see him earn the opportunity to compete for a place in the national team.”
