Wike Ally Chinda Announces APC Candidacy for Rivers Governorship

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship Screening Committee for Rivers State has named Ogundu Kingsley Chinda as the party’s candidate for the state governorship.

The decision was announced Thursday evening at the APC secretariat after the committee gathered results from wards across the state’s 23 local government areas.

Chairman of the Screening Committee, Bitrus Kwamoti, revealed that Chinda secured 268,497 votes, winning the primary election.

Kwamoti described the exercise as peaceful and successful, praising party members for their conduct throughout the process.
