American rapper Nicki Minaj has explained why she stopped attending church.

In a recent episode of the Bryce Crawford podcast, Minaj revealed that she left church as soon as her career took off.

She said the decision was not due to a change in beliefs but because her performance schedule left her exhausted on Sundays. “Once my career started taking off, I stopped going to church. I was working on Friday nights and Saturday nights, so the last thing I could do was wake up on Sunday mornings to go to church,” she explained.

Minaj added that, although she no longer attends services, she maintains a good relationship with God. She admitted that consistency in her spiritual life is a challenge, yet she continues to strive for improvement.

She also noted that her faith has been growing as she continues to develop spiritually.
