Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen is likely to remain at RAMS Park beyond this summer, according to comments from the club’s president, Dursun Özbek, as reported by Afrik Foot.
The Super Eagles forward contributed 28 times in 33 matches across all competitions last season, scoring 22 goals and providing six assists as Galatasaray secured its 26th league title.
Osimhen’s prolific form has attracted interest from some of Europe’s biggest clubs, including Barcelona, Paris Saint‑Germain, Real Madrid, Atlético Madrid, and Bayern Munich.
Despite this growing interest, the Turkish side appears unwilling to entertain any offers from Europe’s elite.

President Dursun Özbek has consistently stated that the former Napoli striker is not for sale.
“It is very natural for every player who is successful at Galatasaray to be on the radar of important clubs in Europe. This shows that our club is doing the right thing,” the 77‑year‑old said.
“However, our priority is the interest of Galatasaray. Osimhen is a world‑class player and happy here. We have no intention of selling Osimhen.”
Even as pressure mounts from Paris Saint‑Germain after Bradley Barcola expressed a desire to leave, Özbek remains firm.

“I asked Dursun Özbek about Osimhen; he said, ‘No matter what offer comes in, I won’t sell him. We’re aiming for our 27th championship,’” the 68‑year‑old said on the Libero TV YouTube channel.
“They said their goal is to be among the top eight clubs in Europe, or even the semi‑finals. The team will be built accordingly,” Tüzemen added.

Osimhen was previously linked with a move to PSG during his time in Italy. Napoli’s president Aurelien De Laurentiis confirmed that the two‑time UEFA Champions League winners submitted a 200 million euro bid for the Nigerian striker and Kvaratskhelia, which was rejected.
The Georgian eventually moved to Parc des Princes, while Osimhen joined Galatasaray, and they have since won trophies with their respective clubs.
With uncertainty surrounding Bradley Barcola and a desire for a proven elite finisher, the Nigerian remains an ideal fit, but Galatasaray’s position makes that pursuit extremely difficult for Luis Enrique’s side.
Unless PSG can present an extraordinary offer capable of changing Özbek’s public stance, their focus may have to shift elsewhere.
Barcelona forward Robert Lewandowski. Copyright: xCerezoxIMAGOBarcelona face a similar challenge. The Spanish giants have long admired Osimhen as a potential successor to Robert Lewandowski, but their financial restrictions already made any potential move complicated.
Now, with Galatasaray refusing to entertain offers altogether, a deal is off the table.
