Nigerian midfielder Ebenezer Akinsanmiro has become the focal point of a transfer dispute between Inter Milan and Pisa Sporting Club after the 2025/26 season, according to Afrik‑Foot.
Pisa has officially exercised its €7.5 million option to sign the 21‑year‑old permanently following his loan spell in Tuscany, as reported by Gianluca di Marzio. The agreement is not yet final, because Inter included a buy‑back clause worth €8.5 million when Akinsanmiro joined Pisa last summer.
With the clause in place, Inter now controls Akinsanmiro’s immediate future. If the Nerazzurri activate it, they can bring him back to San Siro and decide whether he stays with the first team or is loaned to another Serie A club.

Akinsanmiro’s first full season in Serie A with Pisa was a mixed experience. He appeared in 24 matches and recorded one assist, but the club could not avoid relegation.
Prior to that, he spent the 2024/25 Serie B campaign on loan at Sampdoria, making 35 appearances, scoring once, and providing an assist.
The midfielder began his career at Alex Transfiguration Academy in Nigeria before joining Remo Stars FC in 2021. His performances attracted Inter, who brought him to Italy and placed him in their Primavera squad.
