‘We Want More’ –Doué Reacts After Winning Champions League

Paris Saint‑Germain star Désiré Doué is already looking ahead to further European success after helping his club win their second straight Champions League title against Arsenal.

After PSG’s dramatic penalty‑shootout victory over Arsenal in the final, Doué quickly dismissed any sense of complacency.

Speaking to TNT Sports, he said: “We are so, so proud, so happy and grateful. It was a tough game against a good team. We have to enjoy this as a team as a family because we deserve it.”

On taking his penalty: “It’s a part of my job. You have to stay calm.”

Under manager Luis Enrique, PSG has moved away from the previous era of high‑profile superstars, instead building an energetic, youthful project.

Meanwhile, Paris Saint‑Germain coach Luis Enrique described the club’s second UEFA Champions League triumph as “even bigger” than their first title a year ago, after the French side edged Arsenal on penalties in a tense final on Saturday.

“It is even bigger because we knew of the difficulties of playing against Arsenal, and for us as a team and a city, it is incredible to win it,” the Spaniard told broadcaster Canal Plus amid on‑pitch celebrations at the Puskas Arena in Budapest.
