War: We’re ready to help in US-Iran talks – Russia

Russia has said it is ready to assist in the negotiations between the United States and Iran amid the current conflict.

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov made the statement, which was reported by the TASS state news agency.

“Russia is ready to provide all possible assistance in resolving this conflict, and the parties involved are well aware of this,” Ryabkov said.

Daily Post notes that since Donald Trump began his second term, the United States and Russia have grown closer, citing Vladimir Putin’s meeting with the U.S. President in Alaska last year.

Trump frequently praised his relationship with Putin and has been accused of courting him despite Russia’s ongoing war in Ukraine, which began in February 2022.

Putin is currently in China, a week after Trump met Xi Jinping in Beijing.
