Newly promoted Serie A club Hellas Verona has expressed interest in Hoffenheim striker Gift Orban, reports the DAILY POST.
Orban returned to Hoffenheim after spending the 2025/26 season on loan at Verona.
The 23‑year‑old scored seven goals and provided three assists in 28 league appearances for the Italian side.
Despite his solid loan spell, Verona chose not to sign the Nigerian on a permanent basis.
Italian transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio says Venezia are also eyeing a move for Orban as they continue to bolster their squad ahead of the 2026–27 season.
Venezia finished top of the Serie B table last season and are keen to preserve their top‑flight status.
