Nigerian clergyman Bolaji Idowu explained how God intervened in the birth of the first child of fashion designer Veekee James and her husband, Femi Atere.

The couple announced the birth of their daughter, Eliana, in the United States via their Instagram account, according to DAILY POST.

The announcement has prompted reactions from Nigerians.

Pastor Idowu said the birth was a result of God answering prayers.

He urged Nigerians to stay hopeful, saying more testimonies would come.

Atere thanked Pastor Idowu for his prayers and support during the process.

“For this child I prayed, and the Lord hath given me my petition which I asked of him,” Atere said, referencing 1 Samuel 1:27 to underscore the importance of childbirth.
