VDM Organizes “Tinubu Must Go” Protest in Abuja After His Arrival from China

Social media critic Martins Vincent Otse, better known as Verydarkman or VDM, organized a large protest in Abuja on Wednesday night to address the worsening security situation in Nigeria.

VDM had flown into Nigeria from China at about 4 p.m. that day and led the Ratel Movement to the Nigerian Air Force Base in Abuja, where demonstrators voiced their concerns over the country’s escalating security crisis.

A viral video shows the protesters chanting, “Tinubu must go, APC must go, bandits must go, terrorists must go,” as they marched toward the Air Force Base.

VDM, a vocal critic of President Bola Tinubu’s administration, has repeatedly highlighted the rise in kidnappings and killings across the nation.

While in China, he accused the Tinubu government of incompetence and called on Nigerians to remove the president and the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 presidential elections.

VDM also warned that authorities might attempt to detain him upon his arrival in Nigeria, a claim that heightened tensions among his supporters.

Members of the Ratel Movement were already assembled at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja before VDM’s arrival.
