The Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, has approved the suspension of the Managing Director, Imo State Housing Corporation,IMSHC, Raymond Ucheoma, barely one year in office.
Ucheoma’s suspension was made known through the office of the Secretary to the State Government, Cosmas Iwu, who communicated the new development to him via a letter.
In the letter, Ucheoma was directed to hand over all government property in his custody to the Secretary of the Corporation or the most senior officer with immediate effect.
The letter added that the state government is looking forward to a new Imo Housing Corporation that aligns with the agenda of the present administration in terms of effective service delivery.
The appointment of the former Imo Housing Corporation Managing Director was approved in May 2025, after his retirement serving as Head of Service to the government.
