The United States has stated that it will either secure a favorable agreement or find an alternative approach to dealing with Iran.
US Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, made the remark on Sunday, emphasizing America’s desire for a deal with Tehran.
In recent days it seemed that the US and Iran were moving closer to an agreement, before President Donald Trump stalled any immediate progress.
Speaking to reporters, Rubio said, “We’re going to have to deal with it another way. We would prefer to have a good agreement.”
He added that the United States would give diplomacy every chance to succeed.
