UCL: Alex Ferguson tells PSG president that Arsenal are boring and deserve to win

Former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson sent a text to Paris Saint‑Germain president Nasser Al‑Khelaifi, criticizing Arsenal’s playing style after PSG won the Champions League final on penalties.

According to L’Équipe, the message was sent following PSG’s victory over Arsenal in Saturday’s final. Ferguson told Al‑Khelaifi that his own team “deserved” to keep the title.

“Nasser, this is Alex Ferguson. Well done, it was a tough night for you, but you played against a boring team that did nothing but defend,” Ferguson reportedly wrote. “Enjoy your holidays, you deserve it.”

During his tenure at Manchester United, Ferguson secured the Champions League title twice.
