The United States military intercepted and destroyed four Iranian drones that had been launched toward the Strait of Hormuz.

US Central Command (CENTCOM) issued a statement on Friday confirming the interception.

CENTCOM said that US forces targeted Iranian coastal surveillance radar installations located in Goruk and on Qeshm Island as a defensive measure against further attacks.
