U-20 Women's World Cup Draw: Falconets Assigned to Pot 2

Nigeria’s Falconets have been placed in Pot 2 ahead of the 2026 FIFA U‑20 Women’s World Cup draw, DAILY POST reports.

The draw will take place at the EC1 Cultural Centre on Friday.

The Falconets are one of four African teams that will compete in the biennial tournament.

The other African representatives are Ghana, Tanzania, and Benin.

Moses Aduku’s side secured a place in Poland 2026 after defeating Malawi’s Young Scorchers 3‑2 on aggregate.

Other teams in Pot 2 include the United States, Colombia, Mexico, Canada, and New Zealand.

The Falconets will be making their 15th appearance at the competition.

The tournament will run from September 5 to September 27, 2026.
