U-17 WWCQ: Flamingos head to Abidjan before match against Guinea

Nigeria’s Flamingos will leave the country for Abidjan on Wednesday to play the first leg of their 2026 FIFA U‑17 Women’s World Cup qualifying match against Guinea.

The game is scheduled to take place in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, on Saturday.

The return leg will be held at Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne on Saturday, 30 May.

Akeem Busari’s squad arrived in Ikenne last week to begin the final phase of their preparations for the qualifiers.

They defeated Lakeside Queens 5‑0 in a friendly match on Thursday.

Thirty‑six players are currently at the camp, with the squad expected to be trimmed before the team departs for Abidjan.
