U-17 WWCQ: Flamingos Arrive Abidjan For Guinea Showdown

Nigeria’s Flamingos have arrived in Abidjan for the first leg of their 2026 FIFA U‑17 Women’s World Cup qualifier against Guinea, reports Completesports.com.

The team flew with Asky Airlines from Lagos, stopping in Lomé, Togo, before landing at Félix Houphouët‑Boigny International Airport in Abidjan on Wednesday night.

The Flamingos are staying at the Seen Hotel in Abidjan.

Guinea will host the first leg of the second qualifying round tie in Abidjan on Saturday.

Both sides will meet again at Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne on Saturday, 30 May for the second leg.

Meanwhile, the draw for the 2026 U‑17 Women’s World Cup will take place at FIFA’s headquarters in Zurich on Thursday.

A total of 24 countries will compete in the tournament, with Africa represented by four teams.

The competition will be hosted by Morocco from 17 October to 7 November.
