The Nigeria U‑17 Women’s World Cup Qualifiers squad, nicknamed the Flamingos, will face the Lakeside Queens in a friendly in Ikenne on Thursday, further sharpening their readiness for the 2026 FIFA U‑17 Women’s World Cup qualifier against Guinea.
This match marks the Flamingos’ first friendly since arriving in Ikenne for the final stage of their preparation for the qualifying series.

Before heading to Ikenne, Akeem Busari’s side played five friendlies in Abuja, winning four and drawing one.
The team plans to schedule additional friendly matches ahead of the encounter with Guinea.
Guinea will host the first leg in Conakry on Sunday, May 24.
The return leg is set for the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne a week later.
