Transfer: Nigerian defender seals move to FK Austria Wien

Austrian Bundesliga club FK Austria Wien have completed the signing of Nigerian defender Ibrahim Buhari, DAILY POST reports.

The Violets signed Buhari from Swedish first division side IF Elfsborg.

Buhari put pen to paper on a three-year contract with the 24-time Bundesliga champions.

The 24-year-old has already been assigned jersey number three by FK Austria Wien.

Buhari joined IF Elfsborg from former Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, champions Plateau United in 2022.

The centre-back made 77 appearances across all competitions for IF Elfsborg.
