Transfer: Muller urges Bayern Munich to sign Manchester United target, saying he's good.

Bayern Munich legend Thomas Müller has urged his former club to sign Freiburg midfielder Johan Manzambi after the 20‑year‑old’s impressive showing for Switzerland at the ongoing FIFA World Cup.

Manzambi scored a brace as Switzerland beat Bosnia and Herzegovina 4–1.

The youngster attracted interest from Manchester United and other clubs during this summer’s transfer window.

However, Müller wants the Bundesliga champions to pursue Manzambi, insisting that he is a strong player.

“He’s a good player overall. We have had him on our list for a while now,” Müller told MagentaTV.

“For me, he’s someone, and now we can make a headline that FC Bayern should also consider.”
