On Wednesday, President Bola Tinubu landed in Kigali, Rwanda, in time for the opening of the 13th Africa CEO Forum scheduled to start the following day.

At the Presidential Wing of Kigali International Airport, he was welcomed by Rwanda’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu, and the Minister of Defence, Juvenal Marizamunda.

Additional dignitaries present were Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment Dr Jumoke Oduwole, Director‑General of the National Intelligence Agency Ambassador Mohammed Mohammed, Nigeria’s Chargé d’Affaires in Rwanda Ambassador Ibrahim Zanna, and Chief Sunday Dare, the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Public Communication.

Established in 2012 by Jeune Afrique Media and co‑hosted by the International Finance Corporation, the forum has grown into the continent’s largest yearly assembly of private‑sector leaders, investors and policymakers. Its agenda centers on speeding up economic transformation by promoting shared scale, regional integration and cross‑border investment.

This year’s theme is “The Scale Imperative: Why Africa Must Embrace Shared Ownership.”

During the event, President Tinubu will deliver a speech titled “Holding the Line: Nigeria’s Reform Bet in a Fractured World,” where he will emphasize the benefits of maintaining Nigeria’s ambitious reforms and discuss related subjects.

He will also meet with prominent global and African business leaders in high‑level bilateral sessions, underscoring Nigeria’s leadership in steering the continent’s future.

The summit will serve as a platform for Tinubu to reaffirm Nigeria’s dedication to promoting African unity, strengthening regional economic cooperation, and cultivating strategic partnerships that accelerate private‑sector‑driven sustainable development throughout Africa.
