Tinubu afraid of El-Rufai, ex-Kaduna gov created him – Solomon Dalung

Former Minister of Youths and Sports Solomon Dalung has claimed that President Bola Tinubu fears ex‑Kaduna State governor Nasir El‑Rufai.

Dalung, who served as minister during the late former President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration, said Tinubu is “a creation of El‑Rufai,” and that this is why the president is most wary of him.

Speaking in a Mic Podcast interview, the former minister recalled how El‑Rufai worked to secure Tinubu’s election as Nigeria’s president.

He added that there is a deliberate effort to keep El‑Rufai incarcerated until after 2027.

Dalung stated: “There is a deliberate intention of having him incarcerated until this transition is over because the one Bola Tinubu feared the most is El‑Rufai.”

“And why do I say this? El‑Rufai brought Tinubu and minus El‑Rufai Tinubu would not have accepted in the North in 2023.
