Teenager Accused of Stabbing Friend to Death in Kano

A 16‑year‑old boy, identified only as Amir, reportedly died after being stabbed by a friend during a disagreement in the Gama area of Nassarawa Local Government Area in Kano State.
According to Arewa Updates, the incident took place on Thursday night following an altercation between the two teenagers.

The report states that the suspect allegedly stabbed Amir in the neck during the dispute, causing injuries that proved fatal.

The deceased was buried on Friday in accordance with Islamic rites, with family members, friends and community residents attending to pay their last respects.

Amir, who worked as a tailor, was described by locals as a well‑behaved, hardworking young man with a good reputation.

At the time of this report, the Kano State Police Command had not released an official statement, and it is unclear whether an arrest has been made.
