The planned training tour of the United Kingdom for the Super Falcons has been cancelled after Jamaica withdrew as the friendly opponent.
The trip had been set for May 23 to 28, with a match against Jamaica scheduled as part of the itinerary.
The tour was intended to form part of the Super Falcons’ preparations for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
According to Savid News, the friendly was called off because of administrative problems faced by the Jamaican team.
It should be noted that Cape Verde also withdrew from the double‑header friendlies with the Super Falcons last month.
The Super Falcons will wait for the next FIFA women’s international window in June to arrange a friendly match.
Justine Madugu’s side last played in March, when they beat the Indomitable Lionesses 3‑1 in Yaoundé.
They will defend their title at the WAFCON 2026 finals in Morocco in July.
