Nigeria’s Super Falcons will face Senegal in a pair of international friendly matches.
The announcement was made on the Super Falcons Show X handle on Saturday.
Both games are scheduled to be played at Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne, Ogun State, on 5 and 8 June 2026.
These fixtures will serve as preparation for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco, which runs from 26 July to 16 August.
The 2026 WAFCON also doubles as the African qualification tournament for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Brazil. The top four teams will earn direct World Cup spots, while two additional teams will move on to the inter‑confederation play‑offs.
The defending champions, the Super Falcons, are drawn in Group C alongside Malawi, Zambia and Egypt.
Senegal competes in Group A with Morocco, Algeria and Kenya.
In the 2024 edition, the Super Falcons staged a dramatic comeback to defeat hosts Morocco 3‑2 in the final, securing a record‑extending 10th WAFCON title.
