Super Eagles and Celtic forward Kelechi Iheanacho has sent a message of clear intent regarding a new deal to the club, Afrik Foot reports.
The 29-year-old moved to Scotland after terminating his contract with Sevilla and had a great start to life.
Injuries curtailed his impact along the way, before he became a hero off the bench under Martin O’Neill, winning the SPFL title on the final matchday against Hearts.

The former Manchester City striker made headlines after scoring a dramatic 99th-minute penalty in Celtic’s 3-2 victory over Motherwell, which sent the Scottish Premiership title race to the final day.
After that game, Iheanacho was quizzed about his future in Celtic, as the club have the option of renewing his deal for another year.
“I think after 90 minutes on Saturday, then we’ll talk about that”, the former Leicester City striker said.

As per Celts are Here, the Manchester sessions are not new either. Iheanacho has travelled down south several times throughout the season to complete individual fitness work as he attempts to get himself fully back to peak condition.
Coach Martin O’Neill recently admitted Iheanacho is still not quite at the physical level he would ideally want.
