Super Eagles draw 2-2 with Poland in friendly match

In a friendly match on Wednesday night, Nigeria and Poland ended in a 2‑2 draw after Nigeria conceded a late equalizer.

Coach Eric Chelle used the game to test new talent, while the Polish side was preparing for the 2026 World Cup.

The Super Eagles opened the scoring in the first half, with Moses Simon racing into the box to set up Terem Moffi for a well‑crafted goal.

Poland levelled just before halftime when a corner kick found Kacper Potulski, who smashed the ball into the net.

Nigeria regained the lead when Paul Onuachu calmly converted a penalty.

However, the match finished level when Przemyslaw Wisniewski fired an outside‑of‑the‑box effort past Maduka Okoye, securing the 2‑2 draw.
