Sunvair purchases U.S. aircraft maintenance company

Sunvair Aerospace Group has purchasedAircraft Systems, a maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) provider based in Miami, as part of its plan to broaden its product and service portfolio.

The companies said that the financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Aircraft Systems operates as an FAA and EASA Part 145 Repair Station and holds unlimited Accessory Class I, II and III approvals, together with limited approvals for landing‑gear and airframe work.

The firm delivers repair and overhaul services for a broad spectrum of aircraft components used by commercial and cargo airlines worldwide.

Its capabilities include hydraulic and electro‑hydraulic accessories, landing‑gear components, mechanical and electro‑mechanical accessories, electronic accessories, pneumatic accessories and airframe parts.

Kerry Jarandson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Sunvair Aerospace Group, said the purchase supports the company’s strategy to widen its service range.

“The acquisition of Aircraft Systems is a continuation of our strategy to expand the accessories and components we offer and provide even more services to our customers,” Jarandson said. “These additional capabilities enhance the depth of our offering and strengthen our position as a primary service provider for customers’ maintenance and repair requirements.”
