Liverpool manager Arne Slot has said he is confident he will not be dismissed, even after a disappointing season.
He made the statement following the Reds’ 4‑2 defeat to Aston Villa in Friday’s Premier League match.
In a conversation with the BBC, the Dutch coach dismissed any rumours of his sacking.

“It’s not about me; it’s about us being disappointed with the result. I spoke about it yesterday, and that’s enough,” he said.
“Our focus is on the upcoming game against Brentford and on earning the support of the fans by starting the match aggressively and well.”
“The combination of fan support and a strong performance will help us achieve what we want, which is qualifying for the Champions League.”
