Singer Bloody Civilian says she has no plans to get married.

Nigerian singer Emoseh Khamofu, better known as Bloody Civilian, has said that her career as an artist has reshaped her worldview and altered her views on some of the traditional values she was raised with.

In a recent episode of the Not Just On podcast, the Taraba-born star explained that many of the conventional expectations her family has for her no longer resonate with her.

Bloody Civilian revealed that, contrary to her family’s wishes, she has no plans to get married.

The 26‑year‑old noted that her family continues to press her about marriage, yet they do not grasp that it is not something she is eager to pursue.

She said, “One thing my family still does not understand about being an artiste is the fact that certain conventional things that they expect of a woman from the North are simply not things that I am excited to do.”

“For instance, marriage is not something that I am thinking of at all. But that question keeps being brought up.”
