YouTube’s automated systems now detect and flag videos that appear to be created with artificial‑intelligence tools (such as deep‑fakes, AI‑generated voices, or synthetic imagery). When flagged, the video may be demoted in search and recommendations, receive a “potentially misleading” label, or be removed if it violates the platform’s policies on misinformation, spam or deceptive practices.
