Thugs Assault Itsekiri Youth Protesters at INEC Headquarters

In early June 2024, a group of masked thugs attacked Itsekiri youth activists who were protesting at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) headquarters in Warri, Delta State, Nigeria. The youths were demonstrating against alleged marginalisation and demanding the release of detained Itsekiri leaders.
