Security guard abducts employer’s two children

In March 2024 a security guard employed by a private firm in the United Arab Emirates kidnapped the two children of his employer, a senior executive at a construction company. The guard entered the family’s home, seized the 7‑year‑old daughter and 5‑year‑old son, and fled with them in a vehicle. Police located the children within hours and rescued them unharmed; the guard was arrested and charged with kidnapping, unlawful confinement and assault.
